KE’s exploitation

IT seems K-Electric (KE) has made exploitation of its customers an official policy, as it has been, as usual, fleecing its customers. During summer, when demand for electricity was usually on the higher side, KE was charging increased rates against fuel adjustment charges to the tune of Rs5-6 per unit from its customers.

But now in winter, when the power supply demand has decreased, the com-pany, instead of refunding the already collected hefty amounts against the fuel adjustment charges, is refunding paltry 17-20 paisa per unit.

The company does not feel any regret, remorse or shame while exploiting and fleecing its customers, who are so hard-pressed in these challenging times that they are forced to sell their valuable items to pay their monthly electricity bills to the corporate monster that KE really is.

KE is a company that is sucking the life and blood out of the people of Karachi, and it is doing this rather shamelessly.
