Minister wants K-IV work expedited

KARACHI: Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani on Monday directed the authorities to expedite work on the K-IV project to overcome water shortages in Karachi and assuage hardships of the citizens.

Presiding over a meeting of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP), he stressed optimum efforts for the earliest completion of the project to improve the water supply to the city.

The meeting discussed in detail the augmentation of the K-IV project and other issues.

The minister asked the authorities to take all-out steps for the timely completion of the much-delayed project.
