Chaudhry Shujaat calls for special forum to tackle challenges

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has urged the immediate formation of a special forum comprising representatives from all political parties and the military leadership to tackle pressing issues facing Pakistan and its people.

The proposal was made by Mr Hussain during a meeting with senior party leaders, including federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain, general secretary of the party’s Punjab chapter and provincial minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, chief organiser Dr Muhammad Amjad, central information Secretary Ghulam Mustafa Malik, and the president of Sindh chapter Tariq Hassan.

Mr Hussain highlighted the the need for a forum, led by the President or Prime Minister, to address challenges such as terrorism, economic instability, sectarian violence, inflation, energy crises, and strained international relations.

He stressed the importance of all parties coming together to find solutions through mutual consultation and consensus.
