QUETTA, April 16: Jamhoori Watan Party chief Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti has said labelling the Balochistan Liberation Army as a terrorist organisation will make no difference.

He was talking to Online by satellite telephone on Sunday.

“The BLA has no bank balance, property or office which the government can confiscate to satisfy itself,” he said.

Mr Bugti said that only those who had “imposed a war on us” should find ways to end it.

He said that a couple of days ago, ‘miscreants’ killed one FC personnel and injured another in the Qambar Langu area near Dera Bugti.

He said that on Sunday, there was an exchange of fire between some elements and security forces in Dera Bugti and its suburbs. He claimed that most people were leaving the area because of security forces’ actions.—Online
