KOHAT: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Khan on Saturday directed the police officers to devise a comprehensive strategy to tackle sinister elements fanning terrorism and sectarianism to achieve their nefarious designs.

Chairing a meeting of all district police officers of Kohat division during a visit here, he stressed the need for exploiting all resources for weeding out terrorism and restoring peace in the region.

He directed the officials to solve the problems of people on a priority basis and make stringent efforts to restore peace in the region.

He addressed the meeting of DPOs in the office of regional police officer Abbas Majeed Marwat.

The meeting was attended by DPOs of Kohat Zahidullah Khan, Orakzai, Nazeer Khan, Karak, Shabaz Elahi and Hangu, Khalid Khan.
