TOBA TEK SINGH: Chenab Club (CC) Secretary Sheikh Muhammad Asghar suspended the membership of former PTI MPA Shakeel Shahid on Sunday following a quarrel involving his son.

Sources said that on Saturday night, outside the Chenab Club gate in Faisalabad, Husnain, son of Shakeel Shahid, clashed with a security guard over parking rules. Husnain’s vehicle, which lacked an e-tag required for entry, was denied access, leading him to block traffic.

The altercation escalated when Husnain also quarreled with Hanzala Aslam, son of former PPP MPA candidate Haleem Aslam Malik. Civil Lines police registered an FIR against both under Sections 341, 290, and 291 of the Pakistan Penal Code for traffic obstruction. SHO Syed Attiqur Rehman Shah said that no arrests had been made yet.

ESCAPE: A 14-year-old orphan girl, allegedly kidnapped six months ago, managed to escape from her captors and returned to her home in Nematabad Colony on Sunday.

The girl’s uncle filed an FIR under Sections 365-B and 375-A of the PPC at Razababad police station. He claimed that she had been abducted on June 14, but police failed to locate her despite complaints.

Upon her return, the girl said she had been held by five people who gang-raped her and forced her to sign documents while recording videos. She disclosed that she was now pregnant due to the assaults. Police are investigating the case.
