OKARA: A fake spiritual healer was booked after five days for allegedly raping a teenage girl and her sister-in-law who visited him for spiritual healing at village Noor Shah near Haveli Lakkha.

As per first information report (FIR) from Ali Kay Rohaila locality, a 16-years-old girl and her bhabi along with two family men reached the suspect’s residence where he told them that both the girls were under the spell of black magic and they had had to stay there overnight for spiritual treatment.

At night, the healer mixed some intoxicants in the meal. As a result, both men who had come with the girls fell unconscious.

Later, the suspect took both the girls to a room where he allegedly raped them and escaped from the spot. The rape victims’ family lodged a case against the suspect.
