Three die on road in South Waziristan

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Three people died and two others sustained injuries in a road accident in Upper South Waziristan district on Monday.

Rescue 1122 officials said that the accident took place on Badar Bridge in Ladha tehsil where a car on way from Wana to Makin met the fatal accident due to over-speeding.

Soon after the incident, Rescue 1122 personnel reached the spot and shifted the bodies to their native town, and the injured persons to the District Headquarter Hospital, Wana.

The deceased were identified as Roohullah, Mehmood and Riaz, while the injured included Zeenatullah and Shafiq.

They were going to attend a Mehsud tribe peace jirga in Makin area.
