Wounded street crime victim dies

KARACHI: A young man, who was shot at and wounded by robbers in Lines Area two days ago, died on Tuesday during treatment at a hospital, officials said.

Police Surgeon Summaiya Syed said that 22-year-old Zain was under treatment at the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi, where he died on Tuesday.

She said that he suffered a bullet wound in the abdomen on Dec 29 and was brought to the CHK at around 9:30pm from Lines Area within the jurisdiction of the Brigade police station.
