PESHAWAR: Provincial assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati has signed the rules of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Employees (Terms and Conditions of Service) Bill, 2024, granting them legal status.

According to a statement issued by the assembly secretariat on Wednesday, the rules regarding the terms and conditions of service for assembly employees have been granted legal status.

Mr Swati said that the legislation marked a significant step towards clarifying the rights and responsibilities of assembly employees and improving institutional performance, the statement said.

He further emphasised that the implementation of the bill would help address employees’ concerns and ensure transparency in the administrative affairs of the institution.
