KARACHI: Under the influence of a westerly wave that has entered north Balochistan and western parts of the country, the ongoing cold wave is set to intensify further with night temperatures are expected to drop to single digit on Saturday (today) in most parts of the province including Karachi, the Met department said on Friday.

According to the department’s daily advisory, night temperature may remain 4-7 degrees Celsius below normal in most cities.

In Karachi, weather is likely to be cold, dry and occasionally windy on Saturday (today) with night temperature falling to 6°C to 8°C.

The minimum and maximum temperature recorded in the city on Friday was 11.4°C and 26.7°C, respectively. Humidity levels were 66 per cent and 50pc in the morning and evening.
