SARGODHA: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Sargodha arrested a member of a gang involved in bogus and forged marriages.

Aiman Latif, the daughter of Muhammad Latif, resident of Block No. 14, Sargodha, lodged a complaint that Hafiz Muhammad Owais, Nikah Khawan, Union Council No 13, Sargodha, in connivance with Muneeb Raza, the ringleader of the fake marriage gang, prepared a fictitious and forged marriage certificate. At this, the Anti-Corruption Punjab additional director general held an inquiry and registered a case against the suspect with the Anti-Corruption Police Station Headquarters Sargodha.

Investigation of the case was handed over to Tasawur Abbas Bosal, assistant director (investigation), Sargodha.

The ACE team, under the supervision of Bosal, raided and arrested Owais.

TRAINING: A two-day training workshop for administrative officers of BPS 17-18 concluded at the University of Sargodha.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas participated as the chief guest in closing ceremony and distributed certificates among 50 participants.

He encouraged administrative officers to apply the knowledge gained in their daily responsibilities and emphasized that such training programs were essential for professional development.
