SUKKUR: Two policemen were killed and five of their colleagues were injured when their mobile van dashed into a tree along Jafarabad link road during a chase after a car on Saturday.

Police officials said that a police patrol signaled a car with some suspicious looking men to stop on the link road in SITE area but the car’s driver sped away instead of stopping the vehicle, prompting the police team to go after it.
