QUETTA: A case has been registered against unknown attackers for the car bomb blast, which resulted in the death of six people, including five Frontier Corps (FC) personnel.

An attacker rammed an explosive-laden car into a bus transporting FC personnel from Karachi to Turbat in Behan area near its destination on Saturday. The banned Baloch Liberation Army said its Majeed Brigade carried out the blast.

The case has been registered by Balochistan Police’s Counter Terrorism Department in Turbat.

The FIR has been filed under sections of the Anti-Terrorism Act and Explosives Act.

Saturday’s attack left over 50 people injured, including Zohaib Mohsin, SSP (Serious Crime) and six members of his family.

The cop, posted in Quetta, was on leave and headed to Turat when he was caught in the blast while passing through the area.
