GWADAR: Police have arres­ted two suspects involved in hum­an trafficking sending people abroad through illegal land and sea routes.

Officials said that they were arrested on the information abo­ut their involvement in facilitating the illegal transport of Pakis­tani nationals from Punjab and other areas of the country to Europe via the Makran and Iran route, after receiving millions of rupees.

Acting on the directives of the DIG Makran Pervez Umrani, SSP Gwadar Zia Mandokhel leading a team of police officers has conducted a successful raid in the Padi Zar area of Gwadar and arrested the suspects.

They were identified as Khalid Noor Mohammad, a resident of Pishikan (local agent), and Murad Allah Wala, a resident of Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab. After initial investigation, they were handed over to Federal In­­ves­tigation Agency (FIA), Gwad­­ar, officials for further legal proceedings.
