KARACHI: Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi on Wednesday took notice of non-implementation of government fixed LPG prices and sale of substandard and unsafe cylinders in city and directed to launch a crackdown against those shopkeepers who were violating rules.

The commissioner chaired a meeting at his office with the deputy commissioners (DCs), officers of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), civil defence, traffic police and transport departments and decided to take effective measures to prevent the sale of substandard cylinders and installation of cylinders in public transport vehicles.
