KURRAM: The ongoing operation against the miscreants in Bagan and other areas of lower Kurram continued for the third consecutive day on Tuesday, however, no casualties were reported.

Officials in the district administration said that it was agreed in the recent peace agreement that authorities would take action wherever any incident of violence took place.

They said the authorities were taking all actions to implement the 14-point peace accord, signed by the warring sides on December 31 last year.

Meanwhile, the closure of roads for the last 116 days was heaping miseries of local population in upper Kurram.
