MIRPURKHAS: The manager of a private farm situated in Tando Jan Mohammad was electrocuted on Tuesday.

The victim, Vero Meghwar, came in contact with a live wire while supervising affairs of the farm. He was rushed to the area’s rural health centre, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

The body was handed over to the heirs after legal formalities.

20 injured as bus overturns

As many as 20 men, women and children were injured when a passenger bus overturned near Gupchani town along

Nawabshah-Sanghar road on Monday evening.

They were taken to the Sanghar Civil Hospital for treatment.

According to the police, the speeding bus was on its way to Nawabshah from Sanghar when a boy suddenly appeared before it and the driver forcefully applied brake to save him. They boy escaped death but the bus overturned, they said.
