OKARA: Two persons were killed in train-related incidents.

Salman, 25, of village 53/2L, was hit and killed by a train while crossing the track near Sikander Chowk.

An unidentified middle-aged man jumped out of a running train near Adda Tabrook and was killed instantly.

PFA: The Punjab Food Authority conducted inspections at various locations, including a sweet and confectionery unit, and recovered 500kg of expired toffees and 10kg of prohibited food ingredients wrapped in fake packaging.

The team imposed a fine of Rs100,000 on the unit.

The team inspected a restaurant’s kitchen, where the food storage site was found to be unhygienic, with rusty iron machinery. A fine of Rs50,000 was imposed on the restaurant.
