KARACHI: Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) unveiled the 5th Generation of Kia Sportage L (long wheelbase) on Wednesday.

LMC Chief Executive Muhammad Faisal said the company invested over $250 million in the automotive business. Kia delivered over 72,000 units in the first 5.5 years of CKD operations, including over 40,000 units of Kia Sportage.

He claimed that Sportage has 35pc localised parts produced at its in-house manufacturing facility, where wire harnesses, air conditioning systems, seats and plastic injection moulding are made for Kia vehicles.
