FREE SOLAR PANELS: The government has announced free solar panels for people living in rented houses. It is worth mentioning that the rented houses do not belong to the tenants. Therefore, the owner of the house would be the actual beneficiary, who can terminate the tenancy contract at any time and misuse the solar facility. The government should extend the facility to low-income house-owners.

LADY DOCTORS: Wadh, one of the largest tehsils of Khuzdar district, lacks lady doctors and midwives in several clinics. For delivery cases, the locals have to shift their patients to hospitals far away from their area of residence. Patients face immense difficulties due to the long distance between Wadh and Khuzdar, and some even expire on the way to hospital. Other patients rely on inexperienced midwives who usually mess up perfectly normal case. Due to the lack of adequate healthcare facilities and sufficient resources, women and babies continue to lose lives. The relevant authorities must appoint qualified lady doctors in Wadh.

RAMSHACKLE BRIDGE: The Baddo bridge in Kharan that connects the city with Miskan Kalat tehsil and hundreds of villages, has been in a broken state for several months, posing a threat to the commuters. Despite being a bustling route, the ramshackle bridge has been unable to attract the attention of the local administration. The departments concerned should take notice of the issue and address the problem at the earliest.
