LARKANA: MPA Jamil Soomro, the political secretary to PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, MPA Suhail Anwer Siyal, ex-GDA MPA Moazzim Abbasi, JUI-F Sindh General Secretary Rashid Mehmood Soomro, DIG Nasir Aftab Pathan, SSP Ahmed Chudhary and other senior police officers rushed to the Trauma Centre on Friday to inquire about the health of two Hindu traders injured by robbers in different incidents.

They sympathised with the local Hindu community over back-to-back incidents of violent robberies over the last few days in which a prominent businessman, Santosh Kumar, was also killed.

Speaking to the media, Jamil Soomro said people from outside Larkana were involved in such crimes. After committing the crime, they would flee the city, he said. He asked the Larkana DIG and SSP for the early arrest of the criminals.

On Thursday evening, Ronak Ahuja, a kiryana merchant, was seriously injured and looted near fish market while another man, Sanjiv Kumar, was injured and robbed of his valuables near Allahwali Masjid within the jurisdiction of the Dari police station.
