KARACHI: Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has accused the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan of “always using bodies for political purposes”.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, Mr Memon rejected the MQM-P’s allegations as baseless, false and hypocritical and asked the party to reflect on its own “dark history” before blaming the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Sindh government.

He said that no one was above the law and clarified that Afaq Ahmed was arrested in accordance with the law.
