RAHIM YAR KHAN: The 6th Convocation of Sheikh Zayed Medical College Hospital (SZMCH) was held here on Saturday covering academic sessions 2014–19, 2015–20, 2016–21 and 2017–22.

Luminaries from various spheres of governance, academia and civil society also attended the event.

Former founder principal of SZMCH Professor Dr Eice Muhammad awarded degrees to medical graduates.

In recognition of stellar academic achievements, awards were conferred upon top students. Syed Moizul Haq Bukhari was honoured with the illustrious Jam Shah Din Gold Medal by Dr Mazhar Rafi Jam, Professor of Pediatric Surgery, for his performance in the first, second, and third professional examinations conducted by the University of Health Sciences, Lahore.

Additionally, the esteemed Rais Mumtaz Mustafa Medal (silver medal) was presented along with a gift of Rs75,000 by his son Dr. Ali Burhan Mustafa, professor of psychiatry, to the second highest achiever.
