The curricula have been revised by National Curriculum Review Committees (NCRCs).

The revised curricula focused on the academic standards such as nomenclature of the degree programme, eligibility criteria, programme learning outcomes, schemes of studies, course learning outcomes, degree award requirements and options for electives to accommodate the in-demand specialisations in line with international standards, indigenous needs and market demand.
Each curriculum offers guidance about level 5, 6 and 7 programmes of National Qualifications Framework.
The press release said that HEC has advised universities to implement the revised standards in mentioned disciplines at the earliest, ensuring consistency and standardization in relevant education across Pakistan. The revised curricula are available on HEC website, it said.
