KHAIRPUR, April 26: A man has been booked for allegedly assaulting his daughter. Complainant Ghulam Akbar Leghari has stated in an FIR filed with the A-Section police that on April 22 that after returning home from work he came to know that his sister Nadra had been admitted to the Lady Willington Hospital in Khairpur.

His father has two wives, Fazlan and Shahnaz. Fazlan gave birth to four sons, including Akbar Leghari, and two daughters Sabra and Nadra. However, his father has divorced Fazlan, but she lives in the same house for the sake of children.

Mr Leghari said that when he and his brother Zafar went to the hospital, their sister told him that the father had been sexually assaulting her. After eight months of pregnancy, the father brought her to the hospital where she underwent an operation and gave birth to a baby boy.

She said the father had escaped with the baby.
