HYDERABAD: Two trailers laden with cotton and sugar caught fire near Baodero, Matiari district, on National Highway in the wee hours of Monday. Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesman, Dilbar Halepoto, the drivers had parked the two trailers by the roadside and went to have sehri when the long vehicles suddenly caught fire, which also engulfed an oil tanker parked nearby.

He said the fire was extinguished soon afterwards and oil tanker was saved but sacks of cotton and sugar were massively damaged. Cause of fire could not be known immediately, neither any loss of life was reported, he said.
