TAXILA: A man gunned down a tailor and critically injured his assistant for refusing to stitch clothes before Eid in Kamalpur Musa village in the limits of Hazro police station on Tuesday, police said quoting the eyewitnesses and family members.

The police said the suspected murderer came to the tailoring shop of Sajid Mehmood and asked him to sew his clothes before Eid. The tailor refused to provide him clothes before Eid due to workload.

Out of rage, the suspect took out his pistol and showered the tailor with bullets. When his assistant Muhammad Ihsan tried to rescue him, he was also shot at and injured. Police shifted the injured and dead to tehsil headquarters hospital. Later, Ihsan was shifted to Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi.
