Youth shot dead

SAHIWAL: A widow’s only son was allegedly shot dead by unidentified persons at 165/9-L village at Sehri time on Thursday.

As per the FIR, the complainant, Marriam Bibi lives at a farmhouse with her son Kashif Tanveer.

She said Kashif went to milk buffaloes at Sehri time. When he did not return after milking the buffaloes, she got worried and went to the cattle shed, where Kashif’s body was lying in a pool of blood.

She raised an alarm, gathering locals, who called police. The police shifted the body to hospital for autopsy and started investigation.

Marrium says she had no enmity with anyone.

However, some eyewitnesses told police that they saw two persons on a motorcycle near the farmhouse at Sehri time.

Ghaziabad police registered a murder case against the two unidentified persons under sections 302 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on the compliant of Marriam Bibi.
