NAROWAL: Two nomadic children, a girl and a boy, died on Sunday after the dilapidated wall of a house fell on them at Noor Kot village in Shakargarh tehsil.

As per a Rescue 1122 spokesman, Amna (9) and Arshad (8), both belonging to a nomadic family, were playing in a street when the dilapidated wall of a house suddenly collapsed on them.

He said that on being informed of the incident, a Rescue 1122 team arrived at the scene and with the help of locals recovered the critically injure children from under the rubble.

The rescuers tried to resuscitate them, but they succumbed to their injuries.

He said the bodies were later handed over to the deceased children’s parents.
