BAJAUR: Second Ramazan Bajaur Hockey Tournament concluded here on Monday with Bajaur Green Hockey Team emerging victorious in a thrilling final match.

The closing ceremony of the tournament, jointly organised by district administration and local sports department, was held at Bajaur Sport Complex in Khar, said a statement issued from deputy commissioner’s office.

It said that a number of popular teams comprising talented players across the district participated in the tournament. Besides a number of spectators, hockey fans and players, officials of both the district administration and sports department, including additional deputy commissioner Hamza Zahoor, assistant commissioner Dr Sadiq Ali and district sports officer Zahid Gul attended the event.

Bajaur Green Hockey Team won the tournament after defeating Bajaur Stars Hockey Club by 3-2 in the final match.
