LAHORE: A group of nine players from Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming One-day International series against New Zealand will undergo a pre-departure training camp at the LCCA Ground here from March 19 to 21.

The players set to attend the camp include captain Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Abdullah Shafique, Akif Javed, Faheem Ashraf, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Naseem Shah, and Tayyab Tahir.

The squad will depart for New Zealand via Dubai in the early hours of March 23 to participate in a three-match ODI series, scheduled to be played from March 29 to April 5.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan T20 team is already in New Zealand, where they have suffered heavy defeats in the first two matches of the ongoing five-match series.
