QUETTA: Family members of Nasir Qambrani, who was allegedly forcibly disappeared, have demanded his immediate recovery and warned that they will be compelled to block the national highway if authorities fail to act, holding them fully responsible for any consequences.

Speaking at a press conference at the Quetta Press Club on Wednesday, Kokab Nasir Qambrani, Nosheen Qambrani, Haseeba Qambrani and Shereen Nasir Qambrani appealed to the government for the immediate return of Nasir Qambrani and other missing persons, insisting that they be recovered.

Nasir Qambrani’s daughters claimed that their father was forcibly taken during a raid at their home on March 17. They stressed that he is a social activist and has committed no crime. They said it was the second time he had been subjected to an enforced disappearance.

They said they have been knocking on every door to secure their father’s release, adding that their father had previously been held in custody for three years, during which he developed serious health issues. They expressed deep concern about his well-being.

The family also revealed that several other relatives, including Jawad, Ibrar, Ziaur Rehman, Fazalur Rehman, Ali Asghar, and Bilal Ahmed, have gone missing. Additionally, Abdul Rahman, a cousin of Nasir Qambrani, had previously been forcibly disappeared.
