TAXILA: At least three persons were killed while two others were injured in different incidents in Taxila and Attock on Thursday.

According to police sources, a shopkeeper was stabbed to death and his relative was injured critically when a man attacked them with a knife in the Mughal Market area in the limits of the Taxila police station.

According to the survivor and eye-witnesses, a man identified as Fateh Din was harassing female shoppers in a crowded bangles market. When a cloth merchant named Raheem Ullah intercepted him, he attacked him with a knife, killing him on the spot.

When the victim’s relative Irfan Khan tried to intercept the attacker, he also attacked him.

Later, local shopkeepers overpowered him and handed him over to police after trashing him.
