RAWALPINDI: Minister of State for Railways Bilal Azhar Kayani has said that rail service in Balochistan will be restored after security clearance.

In a statement, Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kayani said after the Jaffer Express incident, railway service in Balochistan would be restored immediately with protocol, adding that to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers, the track and bogies are being fully restored and all possible steps were being taken to eliminate security threats.

He said railway service would be resumed only after these threats were reduced.

Mr Kayani said the government stood firmly against terrorism and the war against terrorism would continue with unwavering determination until its elimination.
