RAHIM YAR KHAN: Police have killed two dacoits during an operation near Machka in the Katcha area, 75km from here.

According to a handout of Punjab Police, dangerous robbers Hakeem Kosh and Shahmir Kosh were killed during the operation. These robbers were involved in the incident of martyrdom of 12 policemen last year. Police burnt the hideouts of the dacoits.

In another incident, three robbers arrived at a mobile shop in Chak 113-P on a motorcycle. They held the shopkeeper and two customers in the shop at gunpoint and collected cash and other valuables and escaped.
