TOBA TEK SINGH: The Housing Colony police in Sheikhupura raided a filling station in the locality of Dhamongay on Tuesday and recovered a young man chained in the generator room.

The complainant, the father of Adnan, claimed in his FIR, registered under sections 342 and 506 of the PPC, that his son was employed at the station but left the job when his salary was not paid, even after repeated requests.

On March 9, the pump owner took Adnan with him in a car and chained him.

When the complainant went to the station, the suspect demanded Rs500,000 to set him free.

A video of the chained Adnan was posted on social media, over which the police raided and recovered Adnan.

The police arrested the filling station owner.
