BAJAUR: Terrorists attacked a police post with hand grenades in Inayat Kallay Bazaar of Bajaur district on Friday evening, police and residents said on Saturday.
They said the incident occurred when policemen deployed there were having Iftar.
The police said the attackers lobbed three grenades at the post located in the heart of the bazaar.
However, they said all the policemen remained unhurt in the attack.
District police officer Waqas Rafique told reporters that a contingent of police was immediately rushed to the area after the incident occurred.
He said a search operation was launched to arrest the attackers.
