LAHORE: Pakistan Seraiki Party (PSP) founder general secretary Mansoor Kareem Siyal was laid to rest at a local graveyard in Multan on Saturday.

He suffered a cardiac arrest and was admitted to hospital where he breathed his last late on Friday night in Multan. He was 76.

He had also been suffering from paralysis for the last 20 years. His funeral prayers were held at Abdali mosque, attended by political workers, traders, journalists, writers, poets and civil society activists.

Mr Siyal was a founder of PSP of Taj Muhammad Langha. He was a renowned political figure of Seraiki Wasaib and his house always facilitated political workers of the region.

He was first member of the National Awami Party of Wali Khan. He was progressive voice for the people of the region.

His Qul Khani will be held at his house in Al-Quraish Housing Scheme in Multan at 5pm on Sunday (today).
