LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Friday directed the police to complete by April 29 the identification parade of 10 activists of Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) involved in the attack on an international fast food chain in Sheikhupura.

The police presented the suspects in the court after bringing them from jail.

The investigating officer told the court that more time was required for the identification parade of the suspects.

He stated that the identity parade could not be conducted due to the unavailability of witnesses.

ATC-I Judge Manzer Ali Gill granted police four days to complete the identification parade and adjourned the hearing till April 29.

The suspects include Wali Muhammad, Muhammad Sufyan, Muhammad Usman, Amir Zubair, Tanvir Ahmad, Muhammad Abbas, Attique, Syed Nazim Hussain, Mehboob Hussain and Mian Shahbaz.

The suspects had attacked the outlet in Sheikhupura to vent their anger against Israeli aggression in Palestine.
