DADU: Four escape from custody

DADU, May 18: Four accused escaped from police custody on Wednesday night at the RBB colony post when they were being shifted to the Jamshoro police station.

The accused snatched arms from policemen and beat them up.

They also took away an official gun.

Jamshoro SHO Sattar Solangi told Dawn that accused Nazeer Lashari, Umer Shaikh (Shikarpur), Abdul Haq Shaikh and Rab Nawaz Shaikh (Sukkur) were highwaymen and used to rob passengers of buses on the Super highway and Indus highway.
