ABBOTTABAD, May 23: All-rounder Mohammed Sohail steered Modern Age School to a four-wicket victory against Govt High School No 1 Bannu in the final of PCB National Inter-school cricket championship at the Commerce College Ground on Tuesday.

Govt High School No 1 Bannu, batting first, were all out for 149 in 29.4 overs. Akhtar Niaz hit 32 off 24 balls with four boundaries, Asad Khan struck 36 off 33 balls with one four and four sixes.

Medium-pacer Sohail grabbed four wickets for 37 runs in his nine overs spell.

In reply, Modern Age Public School reached their target for the loss of six wickets in 41.2 overs.

Sohail excelled with the bat with unbeaten 26 off 40 balls. But Modern school benefited from as many as 51 extras, including 40 wides.

For Bannu School Abidullah took two for 32.
