TOBA TEK SINGH, June 5: Former MNA and PML-N central executive committee member M. Hamza has demanded of the chief justice of Pakistan to probe into refusal of three Lahore High Court judges to hear his election petition against ruling party MNA from Gojra, Amjad Warraich.

In a letter sent to the CJ on Monday, Mr Hamza said he and the people have right to know the reasons why the judges refused to hear the petition in the last three years about the forged MA degree filed by the MNA while submitting nomination papers.

He said the refusal of judges to hear his plea was denial of justice to him.

He said the MNA belonged to the ruling party and he apprehended that undue influence and pressure was the cause of refusal of judges to hear his plea.

His petition has been sent to the Multan bench of the high court. But he has not yet received any response from the bench even after one and a half month of transfer of the case.

DEMAND: Councillor Shabbir Ahmad has urged the district nazim to approve reconstruction of classrooms of Government Boys Primary School of Chak 408 JB.

In a resolution sent to district council on Monday, he stated that three classrooms of the school had been declared dangerous.

He said the school had no boundary wall so the reconstruction of classrooms and construction of wall be approved as early as possible.
