KARACHI, June 24: Three-year-old bay colt, The Conqueror’s, is poised to make amends and should sprint to victory in the Summer Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

Drawn in a pack of 14 runners in the five furlongs fifth race of the day, he starts as our days’ best and should exploit his weight and go flat out to win.

Eight-year-old Deniro and four-year-old bay colt, Baba Jani, are fancied to make in two in a row by picking the opener and concluding events.

Desperado, Jan-e-Mun and Daruwala should oblige punters by claiming the remaining three races.

A card of six races all going over a distance of five furlongs has been chalked out for the day. The first race begins at 2.30pm.

Following is the field and our selections.
