Jail official visits Khairpur

KHAIRPUR, July 3: The DIG of prisons, Sukkur, visited the central jail in Khairpur on Monday. He held a meeting with staff of the central prison and recorded statements of 15 staff members who had been held hostage by prisoners on Saturday.

The DIG also held a meeting with jail superintendent. Abu Bakar Shaikh and discussed with him problems of prisoners.
