HYDERABAD, July 21: The Abdullah City community society has accused the Abdullah Builders of violating agreement with allottees by using amenity plots for commercial purposes.
Speaking at a press conference at the press club on Thursday, society office-bearers Noor Hussain Shah Rashdi, Haji Mehboob Samoo and Shams-uddin Shaikh said that they had paid between Rs800,000 to Rs1.3 million for each bungalow according to the size.
They said that plots for school, dispensary, society office and children park were promised to them by the builder.
They said that the builder now intended to dispose of the amenity plots one by one.
They said that the society office had already been sold out.
They said that they had also paid development charges to the tune of Rs85,000 to the builder.
They said that almost all the facilities were missing.
They appealed to the authorities concerned to take notice of excesses by the builder and ensure that the amenity plots were not tampered with and development was carried out as envisaged in the plan.
They said that there were 133 big and small bungalows in the society and the entire amount had been paid during the last three years in instalments. They said that the majority of bungalows had already been occupied.
