GILGIT, Aug 6: The Imamia Students Organisation (Northern Areas Division) took out a protest demonstration on Sunday to condemn the Israeli aggression in Lebanon and to express solidarity with the people of Lebanon and Palestine at this crucial juncture.

The Islami Jamia’at Talaba and other religious student organisations also joined the demonstration that started from the Old Polo Ground and stopped at the Hunza Chowk.

The speakers called upon Muslim countries to take necessary steps to stop the massacre of innocent and defenceless Lebanese people at the hands of Israeli brute forces.

The demonstration expressed solidarity with the resistant movements of Hezbollah and Hamas.
