HYDERABAD: Ban on bathing in Indus

HYDERABAD, Aug 7: Jamshoro DCO Mohammad Khawar Jamil on Monday imposed a ban under on bathing in the River Indus after a resident of Qasimabad drowned in Kotri downstream on Sunday. His body was found on Monday.

The DCO directed police officials of Jamshoro and Kotri to ensure that nobody bathed in the river. He visited 10 villages of the district which were submerged in rainwater and promised support and help to the affected people.
