KHAIRPUR: Boy poisoned to death

KHAIRPUR, Aug 9: Four men poisoned an intermediate student, Tanvir Ahmed Shar, to death on Tuesday, alleged Noor Mohammad Shar, Tanvir’s father, in an FIR lodged on Wednesday.

The father identified the accused as Shamsuddin Panhiar, Ayaz Ali Bhambhan, Faiz Mohammad Shar and Irshad Ali Jogi and alleged that the accused gave his son a cup of tea which was mixed with poison at Malik Chowdagi hotel. As soon as drank it he died, he said.

Thari Mirwah police handed over the body to relatives after getting the post-mortem carried out at taluka hospital.

SIX BOOKED: Police on Wednesday booked six men including the in-charge of Utility Stores in Kumb on charges of black-marketing of sugar.

The in-charge of police post, Kumb, filed a case under section 3 of Black-marketing Act 1956 at Kotdiji police station against the in-charge of Kumb Utility Stores, Fazal Mohammad, Moula Bux, Abid Hussain, Mohammad Aslam and Iqbal Ahmed accusing them of black-marketing.

Police arrested Moula Bux and Aslam and claimed to have recovered 80 bags of sugar from their possession.
