KHAIRPUR: ‘Bandit’ held

KHAIRPUR, Aug 9: Police arrested a bandit, Ardo Narejo, and two others after two brief encounters and recovered firearms, ammunition and motorbikes from their possession, said DPO Javed Jiskani on Wednesday.

He told a press conference that police arrested a bandit, Ardo Narejo, and two other outlaws, Aslam Chandio and Khuda Bux Chandio after separate encounters on Fatehpur Link Road in the jurisdiction of Tando Masti Khan police station and another in the jurisdiction of Kotdiji police station.

Police recovered two kalashnikovs, magazines and motorbikes from their possession, said the DPO adding that the accused were also involved in the murder of Sub-Inspector Inayat Ali Chandio.—BoC
